Full Version: The grandkids again
xracers
My daughter wakes up last night because the 1yr old is screaming. She goes in his room and he's covered in vomit. She cleans him up, takes his temp(no temp) and brings him to bed with her so she can keep a eye on him.

She wakes up again in a pile of puke from him so she cleans them both up, checks his temp again, gives him some electrolytes and takes him back to bed with her.

Now she's getting really worried about him and can't sleep. She's just laying there with him and she feels him moving around so she looks at him and here he is sticking his finger down his throat, making himself gag and puke and laughing about it.

I see serious problems ahead for this grandkid emo-th_Laie_67.gif

I don't know where they come up with some of this stuff! emo-hehe.gif

Yep, I know what you mean. I told her to call the doctor and see what they thought about it.

But I still think it's funny.

omg I can't believe it at that age. I was lucky with 6 and did not have that type of problem

Yuck. I hate vomitt, and when my kid was sick this January in the hospital with the rotovirus, I seen my share. I feel really bad for your daughter.

Well my DD called the doctor for her opinion on what to do about it and the concensus was to put stuff on his finger that tastes bad to see if that works to get him to stop. It has helped but he's still trying to do it every once in awhile. I just talked to her a little while ago and he did try it once again yesterday but just that once.

He's going to be a handful.
