The woman was very sweet - too sweet, if that makes any sense. She was letting the whole idea of Millie's past get in the way of being Millie's leader and protector. She didn't want to be "mean" to Millie, and as a result the woman was babying and coddling her and Millie was becoming very protective and territorial. The husband, on the other hand, was a great leader, but wouldn't let the wife take Millie to the classes we were insisting she needed. He thought the classes were all about teaching the dog to sit/stay, etc. no matter how many times it was explained to him that this particular training was all about evaluating Millie and the wife together and creating confidence in and between the two of them. UGH. Well, some good did come out of it. Like I said, the husband was a good leader, and Millie is much better and much more trusting of men in general. Kind of ironic.
On to the new foster! She's a lovely little Rat Terrier named Cricket. She's about three years old, and just a doll.

Thinking about playing with Millie

NomNomNomNom...RAW! Yep, this little girl took to raw like, well, like the little carnivore she is

Radar up!

And Holy Moly! is she fast! Quick little thing that can turn on a dime. She's amazing to watch. I'm just having a blast with her.
