Two Killed In Separate Overnight Shootings
BALTIMORE -- Two people were killed in separate shootings Saturday night.
Officers said the first homicide happened at about 10:50 p.m. at a liquor store in the 900 block of West North Avenue.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, medics said.
Officers did chase a man in connection with the case.
The man fired shots at the officers and police returned fire but did not hit the man, commanders said.
In an unrelated case, another adult man was found with a gunshot wound to the head early Sunday.
Officers said the man was found at about 3 a.m. on a sidewalk in front of 206 N. Hilton St.
He was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment but died at 4 a.m., doctors said.
No arrests have been made in either case.

Man, Infant Dead In I-83 Crash
HUNT VALLEY, Md. -- Maryland State Police said a two-month old has died from injuries suffered in a Tuesday morning crash that also killed a man and closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 83 north of Baltimore.
The Baltimore County Fire Department said five other people were critically injured. The patients were taken to Shock Trauma and Sinai Hospital.
The accident occurred early Tuesday near Shawan Road in Hunt Valley.
State police spokesman Sgt. Arthur Betts told WBAL TV 11 News the accident happened after a car struck a guardrail and became disabled on the highway. Betts said the man who died was removing the infant from the car when the car was struck by a second vehicle.
The man died at the scene, and the infant died at Sinai.
Northbound I-83 motorists were detoured to York Road during the investigation.

LAUREL, Md
Laurel police have a man in custody in the fatal stabbing of a pregnant Jessup woman on Memorial Day.
Police said 48-year-old Robert Headley was charged with first-degree murder in the death of 21-year-old Christen Hawkins.
The woman's body was found May 27 on a path behind the Laurel municipal swimming pool along the Patuxent River.
Police said Headley was being held in Frederick County on unrelated charges since shortly after the killing. He was returned to Laurel for the murder charge on Tuesday.
Investigators said Headley had been a person of interest in the case since it began. Police said Hawkins had been seen getting into her mother's SUV with Headley on Memorial Day.
Police said Headley was driving the vehicle when he was arrested in Frederick.

From 4 pm edt this afternoon through late tonight
A slow moving cold front will move into the interstate 95 corridor this afternoon. This front will provide the focus for showers and thunderstorms. With high amounts of moisture in Place, Some Thunderstorms Will produce very heavy rainfall. In Addition, Some Storms Will repeatedly move over the same areas. This will lead to the potential for flash flooding, Especially In urbanized areas.
A flash flood watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.

I am not sure how to post stories but ... a few weeks ago we had an 8 foot Boa get loose in our neighbourhood ... our animal control officer said they were not searching for it because he didn't know where to start

. The snake was found behind a dresser.
