I think I haven't checked in this month! Not alot going on. Pipi went to the vet last week for shots, teefies & allergies. Bless her heart, she was raised & raced in Arizona & moving to Mississippi has brought out her grass allergies. She's okay...she just itches when you touch her. I've even taken her collar off. She had fun at the vet though.
Holly the cat & I went to the kennels on Friday & tested 18 doggies...5 failed, horribly. Two of them got their feelings hurt...Holly smacked them (she's declawed) and one little girl named Cassie just turned away & trembled. The other, Recon, hid behind me...Needless to say, Holly was very proud of herself.
Jack & Gogh got into some Avon products I was taking to work for a friend of mine, needless to say, they are now MY Avon products...I was outside maybe 45 minutes cutting the yard.
Gabby & Banker are doing great. Gabby was a little off her food earlier this week, I think it was the heat because the next morning she ate the rest of it. Pipi & Banker did the same thing the next night.
OH OH...one of our adopters is a truck driver, he has Snap...and Snap travels with him. He's also adopting Colin who was one of the dogs rescued after the woman was murdered in Memphis. Both will travel in the 18 wheeler. Well seems he makes deliveries of some sort to several different markets & one of them is Petco. They have been giving him a free bag of Pedigree, 20 lbs. He doesn't feed Pedigree so he ended up with 120 lbs of feed. He brought them to MSGAO & Vicki said I don't feed Pedigree, I feed Diamond, but I have a lady who does feed it. So she called & asked me to come get it. 120 lbs!!! Wow! I told her that is so nice & so helpful! Talk about a blessing.
Been working some overtime also. That'll help to pay the a/con man & the vet. God is good.

So happy to hear things are going well Hilda. I love your Avon dogs. LOL.
I just made a vet appointment for next month for my first girl Gracie. She needs shots updated and a dental. I decided not to wait to get the reminder notice, because by the time I get that, and call for an appointment, the hounds shots are out of date, and I'm late getting them updated. So now we're on time.

I'm sorry Holly hurt those to dogs feelings, I feel bad for Cassie. But she needs to understand that she'll be easier to place!

That was so nice of the truck driver to give you that food!!!

Glad you have all that food given to you Hilda, I have all my kids shots here at the house to give them including kennel cough and hope to shoot (vaccinations) them all up this weekend.

It saves me quite a bit of dough by doing it myself

Wow you have been busy, glad things are going well.

I almost started crying when Cassie turned & trembled. Bless her heart. Sunday when I was there she would come within arm's length of me & Lynn, the turn out girl, then someone more out going would come up & she'd leave. Its like she wants to be petted, but is afraid. Lynn said when no one is around, she'll inch her way to who ever is doing turn out. A friend of mine, Cynde...a lawyer in her office is really interested in Cassie & was so glad to find out she's small animal safe.
