So what, his term is almost over.

I only hope that 2 yrs from now I'm not sitting around thinking that Bush was great compared to who gets elected this year!!! emo-hehe.gif
mountain4greys
That's what worries me!!!!!
dad2paisley
You mean President Obama who thinks he is the president now.

Then don't vote McCain, or you'll be thinking that!! ok well, maybe he wont' be as bad as bush his tax plans are horrid.

This is just such a tough decision this year. Obama is just way to liberal for my taste, he almost comes off like a pussy to me. I do like the way McCain likes to not bring in the Federal Government into everything, he does like to leave things up to the states to decide. I got a lot of respect for someone that was a POW, you would think that he just might have a pretty realistic point of view after being through that.

I still can't decide what to do. emo-th_headbangwall.gif To me it might be the lesser of two evils that I vote for this election....

Obama is acting like he is all ready president. I don't understand why he is in Europe giving speeches. He is too into himself, I can't stand him, the media is acting like he is the savior, the second coming, PLEASE.... I like McCain, I trust him more and esp. if we have another 9/11, he really loves this country, he laid down his life for our country, I may not agree with all his ideas, but, I think he would be a much president.

Hannah, what point are you trying to make here?? Anyone that watches the stock market KNEW that a fairly significant dip was coming. We pulled about 50 % of our money out about a month before...there were clear signs.

My point? First off just wanted to share the video.

And i don't see how our president could ask for cameras to be turned off and actually expect it to happen, and then to make jokes about the situation just hits me the wrong way. It really has nothing to do with the situation he speaks about, just the way he's acting.
dad2paisley
He did make a poop poop, just like the Jesse Jackson comment. They forgave Jesse but they won't Bush.

The future of this country scares me. This new election is going to be a sitting duck. I do not like either candidate. I know Bush is sending are country to hell in a hand basket, but the next president out of this election will ship us there FED-EX Priority Overnight.

Didn't vote for him and glad. SOOO.....I just got back from traveling to six countries in Europe: Finland, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Austria, and Slovakia. For the first time in my life, I could not spend the US dollar. No one would take it. Had to change my money. They wouldn't even take it as a tip. THEN, all the American flags alongside displays, monuments, etc. to denote the English interpretation have been replaced with the British flag. Is there something going on here?

It's time to wake up and smell the coffee. I've traveled all my life (have visited over forty countries) and have never been so humiliated. Of course, it's not Bush's fault. Let's blame the media.

It's our fault for being asleep at the switch and allowing ourselves to be manipulated through fear, anger, religious beliefs, and made to be afraid of everything. Ignorance leads to fear which leads to hatred which leads to all the bad things that have been happening.

My husband works in the Justice Department. We are a retired military family. Bush and his cronies have done more damage than anyone can imagine. This guy and all his friends do not need to be defended. They need to be brought up to trial in the International Criminal Court for high crimes. Oh, that's right, the US isn't a member of the ICC. Wonder why?
