When we got home, we were letting the dogs out. We let Suzy go first then Milky. As I was letting out Milky through the sliding glass door, she ran around the side of the house. Then...the next thing we hear is the greyhound sound of death.
I ran around the corner and it was Milky screaming. I ran over to her, hugged and petted her, she was screaming. She was holding her left back leg up.
I then yelled for Trish. Trish was there in a flash, and knelt down by Milky.
Milky then stopped the yell... We said walk it off sweetie.
Milky then walked it off around the yard.
She might have hit something with her back leg. Nothing seems broken or swollen. Milky is walking on all 4's ok.
Thank Dog she is ok.

She is not faking it. It looks like her foot is swollen.

Never thought of that. I will have to check Milky over again. I had to pick her up and put her in our sofa chair before I went to bed last night. She was just pacing all evening.
This morning, she was still laying on the sofa chair and when it was time for them all to go out, she got up, she did whimper.
She had a good breakfast. I told her that she'll have a good rest today while daddy is at work.
Milky is a daddy's girl and my baby.

Talk about a scare. I was inside getting the boys out of their crates and putting their muzzles on them. Had Bear half out of his crate and his muzzle on when I heard Milky. Went running outside expecting to see her laying on the ground with a broken leg from the sound. She did let me bend her leg around without any reaction but when I picked up the other back foot she went down so she defiantly hurt something. Not sure if she hit something or twisted her foot. If she's not any better tonight, I think we'll call and see if we can get her in tomorrow night just to get it looked at and to be on the safe side. Milky isn't really a drama queen except for nail trims.
Funny thing was when we got back to let the boys out I thought sure Bear would have peed in the house since usually we make sure he goes out as soon as we get home so he can pee. When we walked back inside Bear was still standing half in his crate and wouldn't move. We had to get him by the collar and walk him out the door. Milky screaming had scared him so much he hadn't moved.
