| Here in Alaska it's legal to have a certain amount (about 1oz or less) in your home, and you can have a couple or so plants. But you can't have it near a school, and you can't transport or sell. My biggest problem with pot is that it sucks the ambition and motivation out of most people, especially teens and young adults. After a couple hooties your greatest ambition is to find the bag of Doritos you stashed last week and watch the latest iteration of Jack@$$. Not to mention the short term memory loss... Perfect example: Are local Make "Hemp" Legal group called me to ask for financial support. They told me they'd send me literature on their position, etc. I told them send away and I'd be happy to throw a check in the mail after I received their printed pitch. Three months later they call to gently remind me of my promise of a donation. I remind them of their promise of info. They promise again to send. Three months later I receive another call, again reminding me of my pledge. Speaking very slowly, I remind them that they were going to send me lots of wonderful information about "Hemp". At this point I wanted to shout, "Step away from the bong!" I never did learn about the benefits of hemp. |

| Ummm I'd prefer neither drunk nor high especially when I think that shortly my 16 yr old will be on those same roads. I agree with the IDEA that everyone has the right to waste away their lives and I should not be made to pay for someone else's stupidity that being said I think their should be huge punishments should stupid people do stupid things(theft, selling production ect.) ... to protect those of us who do make good choices.
