We had a miracle here - a tractor came through with a plow and also salted us. Our last snow storm there were so many complaints that Mayor Luke said that they were going to use all available equipment and put snowplows on them to clean the streets. I guess he is keeping his word

You're in a 'tinder-box' area right now. Hope you will get rain that will help, but not flooding.
Beryl
24th February 2008 - 07:37 PM
Yes they need rain but not too much that will cause flooding but enough to get them out of the drought situation
Redstripe
25th February 2008 - 12:47 AM
its going to take alot to get us out of the situation we are in.. i'm in Concord NC..
Beryl

Poor Jams. Guard your food Jams. Softee is a player!
Beryl
26th February 2008 - 09:50 PM
Ms Jams walks away and leaves her food so it is fair game for Softee. If Penske walks away Softee will go over and check his out and sometimes steal his too.
mountain4greys
27th February 2008 - 09:25 AM
I guess all is fair at dinner time.
Beryl
27th February 2008 - 09:47 AM
They all have special areas to eat but Ms. Softee, the Godess will even say I am not eating mine yours looks better and starts on one of the other puppers food. Poor Penske gets totally confused when she does this as he has to be fed in a certain spot, with a certain bowl in his special plant pot (which is empty). I will have to try and get a picture of where he eats. As you said Jimmy to Softee all food bowls if you walk away from them is fair game to Softee.

Greyt news Hannah - Penske only has done his mark once and I told him no and so far he hasn't done it again. Softee does have problems at night so we keep waterproof pads down for her and so far so good. Mine need cleaned again too.

Al doesn't mark in the house unless someone else does and he has to go behind them... one time when he got really sick (had to go to the vet cuz of a bacteria infection) he had the Big D in a few places.. poor thing i know he didn't want to go in the apartment but i wasn' t home...
the bedroom carpet wont' be cleaned because the animals will be in there but that carpet is clean..

My carpets need cleaned, but it's just cuz their dirty. I try and do them at least 2 times a year, sometimes 4. No point right now because of all the mud they'd bring in. But in the spring.....
Glad you're getting yours done Hannah, it's a great feeling when they're clean!
Beryl
27th February 2008 - 12:14 PM
My carpets are dirty also especially the one in the dining room where they track all the mud in and then into the living room on the laminated floor. Wish Jams would walk on laminated floors if she would i would get the dining room floor laminated.
