That is what vacation days are for. I wish I got vacation days but I am considered casual so they save money (even tho my days are set) they will not put me on part time status...
Terri hit a deer on the way to work this morning. Apparently a vehicle coming in the other direction hit it, and knocked it in Terri's lane and she hit it.
Luckily there was only minor damage, I hope. The big plastic fender is loose on one side, and it broke both of the fog lights. The front tag is bent. (WV only has one tag, so the bent one is a greyhound tag. Deer hair is stuck in the cracks. Ewww.

my friend ran into a deer... the wreck was so bad she broke her back...her shoes were in the back seat... poor deer didn't have a chance

OMG thankful Teri was not hurt and you can always fix the car. I have hear plenty of stories of cars hitting deer and not all are as lucky as Teri was

I finally got to see this also
I don't know why, but sometimes it'll come up, and sometimes it won't. Someone said to hit the REFRESH button and that might help. It's very frustrating. And trying to get your own egg is even harder.
sooo... how do we get it to hatch within 4.89 days (that's what it just said when i clicked it) ....

It is still saying the same thing today as it did the other day. Jimmy is very confused with his egg

It will say the same thing everyday until something happens to the egg. It's kinda complicated.
If you go to the other board, under Off Topic and look for a thread about the eggs, some of the posts explain a little bit about them.
Liz, it does hurt my butt, especially since it's so small.
Look close at my egg, it has a crack in it, so maybe it'll hatch.

well i had a greytalk account before before.. never visited.. nothing against greytalk just not interesting to me.. besides i have EG, Global, PRH, myspace, so no real time for GT...

That's why I thought I'd try it. I don't post much on there anymore, but I do like to read the posts. It's cool to look at all the different dragons.

My last time there was Nov 11, but I was able to sign in and post.
Lucky you I got knocked off once and all my posts are now under guest but I managed to sign back on with my same name.
Well at least you can do that. Not that the other is right.
I like it over here, it's more laid back, and you don't have to worry about getting flamed or being in one of their clicks.
I kind of like it there also but I fell more at home here.
I did get a lot of info on GT especially when Belle took her first seizure. Some of the members are pretty decent but then there are some snobs over there.
I just love the people here, everyone is so kind. 
You are right Jimmy I have not seen any flaming here as I have seen on another board..
I hate boards that do that to people.
Usually the flamer will get her/his nose into everyone's post and usually turn that post around to her idea.
And the people who think they know it all, don't really know greyhounds at all.

Click on the Dragon and it will tell you on that thread
I think when the dragon grows to a point it won't die, they give it a name automaticly.

Yep. At least I think they give it a name, only because so far there isn't any link to be able to do it yourself.

Next Sunday is Easter
Wilkl work on my egg later but Penske weighs 90.5 lbs and was 79.5 lbs when I brought him home. Vet very happy with him, did not cry when he got his shot. He also had a lot of admirers both at the clinic and Pet Smart. One little girl could not get enough of petting him and even at check out they were petting him. Penske thrives on attention and will demand it when we are out.
I'm glad Penske did good at the vets. 
I do have to say Mr. Penske is quite the gentleman

Penske has been no problem except for the one time that he marked in the house but a little chastising and it has not happened again. He is an angel compared to a couple of the girls but I was told Oskosh Racey/Flying Penske off springs are very laid back with the females being a little shy
I finally got to take a short nap.
I did that myself this afternoon.
We also took a nap with Hershey between us
Today was a very lazy day.
I can't get back in the cave and can't find my egg 
Why is it that the weekends just fly by but the work week drag's on and on?
I know my work day drags if I am not busy hope I am busy on Tuesday
I missed so much this weekend on EG kinda saddens me... and next week i'll be busy too...

Bought Ms. Belle a Kong the size reccomended but she seems to like the smaller one better that the one we bought her. I think it is because she can pick up the small one but can't with the big one
