Going crazy with both computers are slow on this board

Yep it is back but it was slow on both computers but not on the other boards.

That's what I found to. Thank God it wasn't the computer, I can't afford another right now.

My main computer is a Dell and I was thinking oh not again. Dell techs trashed my first one and I had to fight then to get it replaced which they finally did. Then the one they sent me was not compatable with my mouse, keyboard and printer. Sent me a new keyboard and printer said they told me I could buy and adapter for $5.00 for the printer. Told them to get it I will give them the $5.00 ha ha. Sent me a new printer. I did have to threaten them with everyone I know who worked for government agencies. plus of course the message boards...

My computer is a Dell. It's 2 years old last month. It's been working great and I hope I don't ever need tech support, because I heard it's the worst.

It sure does. I agree.

I agree but once you threaten them and throw some names at them like The IRS, The State, The City and International groups you belong to. You start getting some action such as supervisors and then a personal person to take care of everything.

Have to try that. I always get a foreign person who can't understand your problem. I guess when you call at certain times you can get anyone.
I have a Dell Monitor, the Dell CPU died after many years and a Emachines CPU now and it pretty cool.

I just got so pissed off at them that I just started to threaten after waiting for so long to get something going. So I just told them in no uncertain terms I was going to let everyone know what they had done. My friend who worked at the IRS became my cousin, a friend that worked for the city my sister in law and down the line. I had a relative every where and an attorney that was waiting to start a class action lawsuit really got them going. The computer is a reconditioned one but better than the one I had originally. Then they did not want to give me floppy I told them the original had floppy and they had better give me floppy or else. Got my floppy...

I just keep knocking on wood that mine has been great so far. I'm pretty far behind in the electronics age, this computer being the second one I've had. My first was a hand me down from my boss. It was so slow and outdated that I barely used it.

My first one was from ELPC and we did not go on line with it I think we got it for $10.00. We have bought two at Goodwill (they have a special store that refurbishes them). The first one for $100 complete which eventually crashed and became obsolete, then we bought the Dell that the Techs destroyed. Waiting to get my Dell replaced/fixed (ha ha) we bought another one from Goodwill for around $300 (an HP) and it is the best one so far and we used both the recon Dell and the HP. DH wants to do something (he is not a computer person) he can on the HP

My worst experience was when my computer wouldn't come on at all, the girl on the phone (who first language was NOT english) had me taking apart my computer, and i asked her "what do i do with this piece" she said "uh huh, yes that is correct" ABOUT 30 TIMES!!!!!!!! i finally said "look my computer is in pieces in front of me because of what you told me to do can you transfer to someone else to see if MAYBE just maybe i can understand then and they can understand me" so i got transfered and i couldn't understand this guy at all....so i got transfered AGAIN and i just said "send a tech over by 3 tomorrow" he showed up and he was a funny lil' man and he fixed my computer...

i guess its my turn to put up with a slow board today...

ok the board is offically screwy for me today... wierd things keep happening and certain things aren't working!!

That was me yesterday today a tad slow but not like it was yesterday. Are we being punished~~~~

I have put in a help ticket for them to check the slowness. All my IPBfree boards are like here slow and also to ones I am a member of are slow too. They could be having sever problems on their end.

probably, I sure can't be everyone's computers at the same time.
