I tried to call R & L Kennel's phone # in Shorter, Alabama and the phone was disconnected. I emailed the GPA in Birmingham and have not heard back from the McGregor Greyhound Welfare Agency. I cannot locate the owner Ron Montgomery or the Racing Kennel in the Greyhound Racing Database. I am pretty frustrated. Do you think I should contact the racing manager at Victoryland for info or should I try to contact another adoption agency close to the track?

I think Wes Parvin used to own him, but on the Victoryland Website it states he races for R&L Kennel and is owned by Ron Montgomery. But I am not sure if this is the kennel owner or the owner of the dog. I am not sure how this works?

I just looked in the VL program- Wes Parvins is listed as the owner. Get a hold of him right away- Blackjack is about to grade off or he might have already if there isn't his last race showing yet.

Cathie Lambert(the FTH guys) works alot with Wes Parvins and might help you contact him.

I am working on it. I just found Cathie's email and I have something posted on Greytalk. Hopefully someone responds. I am going to call the GPA Birmingham tomarrow and leave a message. I hope so to.

I just got Wes Parvin's phone #. I am going to call him tomorrow. I hope he will get back to me soon. I really hope this works out for us. I asked Shadow tonight to blink at me twice if he wants his littermate. Maybe it was by chance, but I think he wants his brother.
