Mystery

Endeavor

Their sire was Flying Penske. Penske seemed to throw pups that are a bit shy/reserved and these guys are no exception. They’re not real spooks at all, but are wary of people, don’t seek contact or petting, very independent, minimal eye contact, nervous, prefer their crate, etc. Some of that can be poor early socialization, but with the Penske reputation I think some is hereditary.
Has anyone adopted retired Penske hounds? What was their personality? How were they 6 months later?
I’m especially interested because I have a racing pup out of Penske and he’s also quite timid now at 22 months. He’ll retire to a soft bed in my house when that time comes (of course

It's like watching a flower bloom when they start to come out of their shell.
Penske in the middle, Softee next to Dave's knee and Highway in the back.

Michelle - For everyone reading this Michelle fostered Penske for me until I arrived in Florida. I have become very close to her after meeting at the first Sandy Paws and consider her my adopted daughter. Love you Michelle
Michelle. Glad to have you here on EG.
