Well,

I found a lump in Shadow's rear inner thigh. It is on the left side. He is going to vet tonight at 7:00p.m. I already lost a grey to osteosarcoma. I do not want to think the worst. I am just scared because I have been down this road before. I pray it is a muscle strain or a fatty tumor. Please pray for my good boy. Please pray for my fur baby's good health. I hope the vet can give me the results tonight.

Nothing but good thoughts for Shadow.

Shadow and I got back from the vet tonight. He has a lipoma. The doctor said that his tumor is not representative of osteosarcoma. He stated that he needs to have the tumor extracted. He is going to have surgery on 3/16. He is also going to have 2 more teeth pulled when he gets his tumor removed. The vet said that he will biopsy the tumor, but I do not have to worry about the tumor causing problems. He said since we are going to Sandy Paws he does not want to operate on him this week and something happen with his incision not healing right, so we are going to wait until the Monday we get back. I have the day off. I am glad to hear it is not the Big C. I still am worried, but I really trust this vet because he specializes in removing tumors. I feel a little better, but will be happy when the surgery is over.
