I was at an event Sunday and bought all my fur-kids a new tag collar ($5 each). They are simply good old macrame strips with a few beads worked in. The two ends of the strip are joined by those little chintzy rings that your car dealer puts your keys on when you leave it for service - you know, the little metal loops that turn into a straight piece of wire when you pull on your keys and the dealer's key tag at the same time...? You hang your tags onto that little wire ring and if your dog gets caught somewhere, that chintzy ring will give way long before your hound strangles. These are so cool - and colorful - and they just make me feel groovy. "All the leaves are brown.. and the skies are grey... I stopped into a church ... on a winter's day ...." Now where did I leave my tie dyed t-shirt?
