I would spread the word. EG is a great board.

Why don't some greyhound boards, let you talk about other boards that folks might like to join.

I am a member of GT and have noticed that there aren't anyones boards or stuff allowed to be mentioned there.

I think that is stupid. If someone can talk to that admin and tell them that is not right. Are they afraid of competition? I am not going back there. Anyway, it's boring there.

Yes, here you can talk and post freely as long as you don't get nasty.

I have learned a great deal from everyone which I think is great and we can share our own views and respect that.

You can grieve about your pet(s) here, someone elses pet. You can grieve for non greyhound pets and also human grief.

One thing I have liked here is that I feel like I am part of a family with the members and that is cool.

Other boards that I belong to I like but I don't have the same feeling as here on EG.

Here I can express myself without being told by PM that I am stressed out. Yes I do get stressed out with a son who has cancer and Belle with multiple injuries but how does that person know me when they have never met me? Just because I posted about a local PetCo selling outdated, no longer being made Science Diet. This was the only board that red lined and closed the thread all the other boards kept it and quite a few people thanked me for posting it. I was upset by the way the manager treated us when we informed her about it. Science Diet was also not too happy about this incident and said they were going to check into it. Science Diet did send me coupons which we have used. PetCo has not responded to my complaint when I called Customer Service and they are Pet Super Market. Guess we will not be dealing with PetCo anymore even though it is only 5 minutes from the house. Will gor to Pet Smart which is 20 minutes away and when we told the manager about this could not believe what had happened.

Hey...I found this board thru Houndtalk! I like it here already. I feel like I've gone to a dinner party with a bunch of greyhound peeps & made to feel right at home! I'm gonna tell some of my greyhound friends about EG!

Thanks for all your help in bringing new members to EG. We still need to spread the word. There are lots of greyhound owners out there who may not even know that there is a board like this for them.
IMO, EG is better then GT and lots of GTers that arent' happy over there. We need to round them up and bring them here so they can be refreshed and renewed with a great bunch of members here.

I finally got card off of d2p and have been passing them out hopefull some will join up. I am thinking of scanning and sending it out via e-mail

Never thought about scanning the card. You could possibly have it in your signature in your email?
