Eds, its good for and very reasonable and the prices are decent. . But watch out the crab soup is sooo hot and spicy!!

Grotto Pizza!!!!! In Rehobeth!

Is Grotto in Dewey still open? I just LOVE their "bucket of beach fries"!!!!!!!!!
As I'm always vending, my Dewey dining adventures have consisted of that, DQ and carry out from Mama What's-Her-Name's pizza place on the corner of H'way 1 and McKinley.

Grotto was there last year, didn't get down over the summer to check on them... but it was a nice, big building, I doubt they would have folded up shop. It's on highway 1, between one and two blocks away from where you are staying, Jimmy.

Thanks Judi, I didn't know it was that close. We have to eat at Grotto's at least one night!!!!!!! I haven't had their pizza in a while, but I remember it was great.
We all have to get together for a night at Grotto's!

I should have posted the web site here for the Chamber of Commerce for Rehoboth-Dewey, duh!! www.beach-fun.com, lots of info and some restaurants. We ate at Crabby Dicks, good food and last year they had tables and water bowls for the dogs outside. Our friend said she has eaten at Big Fish Grill and it was good.
