As part of The Bottle & Cork Experience in Dewey Beach, "Greyhounds Make Great Pets" is having an I-Pod & More Raffle. The winners will be chosen at the B&C on Saturday evening October 6th at the close of vending that day and posted at the Bottle & Cork bright and early Sunday morning October 7th. Winners will be able to pick up their prizes at the B&C during vending hours on Sunday. You must claim your prize at the B&C as winning items will not be shipped.

Tickets for the I-Pod & More Raffle are free...yes, that's right free. Did you catch that? FREE!!!! And there are 4 ways to get those free raffle tickets...

~ When you shop with a vendor at the Bottle & Cork you will receive 1 free raffle ticket for every $20 spent with that vendor. So, for example, when you spend $100 with a B&C vendor, you will receive 5 free raffle tickets. The more B&C vendors you shop with the more free raffle tickets you will receive.

~ Each person that attends a Bottle & Cork seminar, sponsored by the AGC, will be given 5 free raffle tickets as they leave after they have attended the full seminar. The more seminars you attend the more tickets you receive. How easy is that?!? You not only learn lots of cool information but you get a free thank you gift.

~ GMGP's very own Mr. Monkey will be in front of and inside the Bottle & Cork on Friday and Saturday. Just walk up to him and say "Howdy-Ho! Mr. Monkey Rocks" and he'll hand you one free raffle ticket. Yes, Virginia, there really is a Mr. Monkey!

~ 10 raffle tickets will be placed amid the gold & doubloon filled (OK, goodies for you & your greyhound filled) Treasure Chest, the grand prize in GMGP's "Pirates of the Beach" contest at the B&C on Friday October 5 as part of the live GMGP recording for an upcoming show.

The first prize for the I-Pod & More Raffle is , you guessed it, an I-Pod. Other prizes include rolling suitcases for your greyhound filled with oodles of travel goodies, a Deluxe Dremel kit, a 1st aid kit, jewelry and more!!!!

The I-Pod and More Raffle at The Bottle & Cork Experience just keeps getting better!!!!

We are delighted to announce the addition of another raffle prize.

Internationally known photographer Barbara Karant has graciously donated a beautiful black & white framed photograph of 5 greyhounds, their heads gracefully arched looking up...for a treat? At that squirrel in the tree? Into the eyes of their human? Barbara's work truly captures the loving, gentle soul of the greyhound.

Many of you may already be familiar with Barbara's greyhound photographs as the immediately recognizable images exclusively offered on merchandise sold by Greyhound Only in Chicago or have gazed at her works at the Dewey art show. And we are all looking forward to Barbara's new book, "Greyhounds", which is scheduled for publication in 2008.

Donna Weeks, hard working chatelaine of The Bottle & Cork Experience, has donated a lovely 9 inch sterling silver ankle bracelet for the I-Pod & More Raffle. This eye catching ankle bracelet has an open heart design and features a sterling silver "stretch" greyhound charm in the center.
