My favorite all time shows: Bewitched, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, I Love Lucy, and Seinfeld, love watching all the reruns of these shows, they just make shows like that any more, how sad.

i've never been much on TV but the one show i had to watch every thursday was ER ...and when i had cable i would watch reruns of law and order all day every day
growing up we couldn't have cable, my dad still can't get cable out to his house so we only had the attenna on top of the house that we could turn and get one channel! but who needs TV when you live out in the country and can do whatever you want!

Green Acres! It is full of profound philosophy that holds true today...Like the "Principle of 7" (Oliver assigned all of the appliances a point value and as long as Lisa didn't plug in more than 7, the power stayed on.) That was my house until we got new service - I'm pretty sure there is just a new, higher number now... we'll hit it some day. Then there was the episode about the "high handed code of 1932" which stated that if your neighbor drilled a new well and then your well went dry - that was your problem... I'm pretty sure we still go by the "high handed code of 1932" around here. Then there was the one about the low-priced Grabwell washing machine (a big drum with an outboard motor on it) that flung the clothes around the room, then chased the owners around the house. I know that I've bought a bargain Grabwell or two. I suspect that the meaning of life is in those old episodes somewhere.
