As there is a great outpouring of support for Tucson Greyhound Park greyhounds, this would be the perfect time to remind everyone that TGP currently has 80 greyhounds in it's pet kennel, and another 20-30 greyhounds in racing kennels that are ready to be placed into adoption programs.
Some of these greyhounds have been on-site waiting for over a year for a group(s) to come forward and help them begin their journeys into forever homes. Several adoption groups do, on a regular basis, take some of the TGP pet kennel greyhounds into their adoption programs and they are to be thanked for not forgetting about these greyhounds.
The Tucson Greyhound Park pet kennel will be open from 10am to 12pm Saturday September 29, 2007 for any greyhound adoption program that is interested in coming and picking up some of these greyhounds. If you will be arriving to take multiple greyhounds, you need to make sure that all transportation of greyhounds from TGP's pet kennel abide by Arizona racing statues.
